Common questions

The verse or prayer notifications don’t arrive.
Check that notifications are allowed for Firdeus in your phone’s settings. On some Android phones, also turn off battery optimisation for Firdeus. Opening the app once in a while keeps the reminders topped up.

The prayer times are slightly different from my mosque.
In the Prayer tab, choose the calculation method and Asr setting your mosque uses.

The Qibla compass is not accurate.
Hold your phone flat, away from metal, magnets and magnetic cases, and move it in a figure-8 to calibrate.

I want to report a post or a person.
Tap Flag under the post or reply. You can also tap Block to stop seeing someone. For anything urgent, email us.
